An Energy Crisis in the Cannabis Industry
Designing a sustainable production system was the driving motivation behind the development of the VERA facility.
We identified fundamental problems with standard production models found in the cannabis industry: indoor facilities created the best product but with unsustainable energy demands. And while outdoor cultivation and traditional greenhouses can be efficient, the quality of product was unreliable.
OUR VISION
We believe the solution lies between a greenhouse and an indoor environment. Now fully operational, the VERA model – a fusion of both greenhouse and indoor benefits – bridges the gap between greenhouse efficiency and craft indoor quality. Over the years, we’ve worked tirelessly to design facilities with great intention and always with a nod to the future.
